Hi lovelies,
We have been given the most wonderful Easter gift imaginable- I am PREGNANT!
I came off the mtx in September and am approx 6/7 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't have told everyone so soon but I am notoriously sick ALL day and ALL night and with the babies I lost I had no sickness so as I am vomiting and nauseous all the time I am hoping I am safe.
PLEASE say lots of prayers though- not only is my RA a worry (although it has been reasonably quiet considering), I have had two placenta abruptions so this wasn't an easy decision or made lightly. In fact it has taken me nearly 6 years. It will be Consultant care only and they will probably do a planned section. I had a long appointment three years ago with the Consultant and she advised this and so this is what I feel best doing.
The children do not know yet even though they can see something is up! I am dying to tell them but I have to cross the HUGE hurdle of telling my parents who won't be happy.....in fact I am very anxious about it!
Much love,
Amanda

Oh Amanda- I am sending many prayers for you and baby.
This is WONDERFUL news for you. Praying that you will be VERY VERY well throughout and all will go to plan. You know I had a c section with Bernice, it was a good way to have her- the medics tell me it is the safest.
Much love and MANY congratulations.

Amanda Babe what brilliant news I know you were wanting one but know that it can be difficult i so didnt want to say anything. You are so lucky to get preggers so quickly. It must be those organic milk shakes and healthy recipes. I imagine you as a wonder women with all amazing food cupboard and good positve upbeat nature, sort of like Nigella lawson of NRAS Ply you parents with some good food and wine so they wont be able to move when you tell them. Will definitely think of you tonight, Lots of love and kisses Mari

Hi Amanda Huge congratulations to you and Mark. Really wonderful news and I know you must feel so very happy. Will be thinking of you this evening and truly hope your parents can be happy for you. I had consultant only care for my last pregnancy, but that was 15 years ago, but they were excellent. Loads of additional tests , scans etc. made me feel very safe (had a lot of problems following the birth of the twins hence the reason for extra care!!). I am sure you will receive expert care. So exciting Amanda, I'm really pleased for you. Take care, Lyn x

Dear Amanda ,
I am thrilled for you. This is such special news and it wil be special to be able to go through your pregnancy with you. From your parents point of view i can imagine why you are apprehensive about telling them the news. Once the baby is here they will welcome him/her with open arms. They are only concerned about you as you will be for your children one day. I hope that they managed to cover up their feelings this evening and welcomed the wonderful news as it should.
You need to rest and look after that hip! Lots of love,
Eleanor x
